- Adultery: in hell one's generative organ cut off, struck with iron clubs on rocky slabs, forced to embrace blazing thorny shrubs.
- Adulterous woman/man: embrace successively 7 men/women of hot iron, then becomes a dog, a pig, and a miserable woman/ man.
- Cohabit with the wife of a relative: heart disease. (Love/lust is of the heart; one changes one's heart which becomes alien to the body, or one makes one's heart sick with something anomalous, out of the ordinary, incongruous, deviant, unnatural, offbeat - ed.) And after hell one becomes hog, dog, chameleon, cuckoo, etc.
- Sell girls: one will beget only daughters who are widows, harlots or unlucky.
- View other men’s wives with passion: in hell crows with beaks of steel will peck one’s eyes, eyes will be pierced by darts, a blazing trident will be fixed in the heart.

Cause dissension in marriage: in hell one is pierced asunder by blazing tridents, then in the human forms of life one gets broken marriages and unchaste wives.
Spoil young girl: in hell the yamadhuta’s will tear out the eyes and they have their eyes reproduced continuously. After hell one becomes a eunuch or as woman impotent
Men of lustful souls: become hogs.
- Sleep with the teacher's wife: T.B.C., or black teeth.
- Covet teacher’s wife: chameleon.
- Illicit sex affair with brother’s wife: cuckoo.
- Adultery with wife of teacher/elder: pig.
- Sudra adulterate brahmini: worm or white ant.
- Cause abortion: this is maha papa, great sin. Those who committed maha papa's stay in each of the main hells for a maha-yuga (one cycle of satya-, treta-, dvapara-, kali yuga or 4.320.000 years).
According to the severity of all the sins, after some suffering in hell, one has to go through all the 8,400,000 species of life forms or a part of them. At the end they come back to earth, and at the end of several births there, in the human form of life, the karma-ksetra; the field of karma; from here you can go to liberation or again into the cycle of birth and death.
On earth, those having committed abortion are born as donkeys for 7 lives, they are born as dogs for 10 lives, in which these souls will be getting their bodies whipped and lashed. Then worms in feces for 100 years. Then for a hundred years as immobile beings – plant, tree.
Then for 7 lives they are born as Candalas who commit sinful crimes.
Then 2 births poor and afflicted with diseases, again they go back to hell.
One who committed abortion will have a still born child.
The person who cohabits with an individual of other kinds of species than humans, are born in that species.
- Women who abandon their husbands and resort to others go to a hell where they are made to lie on beds of red hot iron and dummy men of red hot iron are put upon them. Then these women are compelled to embrace iron columns, blazing like fire, for a 1000 years. Then they are bathed in liquid caustic acid and are forced to drink that. After that, for a 100 centuries a tour through all the 55 crore hells.
- One who discharges semen in masturbation or in homo sex or in the uterus of animals, goes to the reta-bhojana hell, with one its features that one has to subsist on semen. There is the vasakupa, a deep and narrow well of reta, semen where he has semen for his diet. Then he is reborn as the most despicable man.
- A woman enamoured by paramours: the Yamaduta's in one naraka, hell, will forcefully insert red hot iron bars into her vaginal passage, for as many times as the sin was committed.

Then worms in feces for 100 years, repeatedly reincarnating, serpent for 12 lives. Then for 1000 lives born as various types of deer. Then for a hundred years as immobile beings. Then the bodies of alligators.
Then 7 lives born as Candalas, who commit sinful crimes. Then for 16 lives as sudras.
Then after 2 births being poor and afflicted with diseases, they again they go back to hell.
Any brahmana or brahmana’s wife who drinks liquor is taken by the
agents of Yamaraja to the hell known as Ayahpana. This hell also awaits any
ksatriya, vaisya, or person under a vow who in illusion drinks soma-rasa or other intoxications. In Ayahpana the agents of Yamaraja stand on their chests and pour hot melted iron
into their mouths.
-one who drinks wine or liquor is in hell immersed in boiling melted lac.
